Two Times More Clicks On Google vs. Bing with Organic SEO in Tucson

Check out this infographic by a very reputable SEO company Slingshot SEO. Here are some of the takeways to think about.

  • Google gets more clicks to your website in the #1 spot than Bing
  • If you aren’t at least top 5 on the first page of any search engine traffic dramatically falls off
  • Positions after top 5 get almost the same and sometimes less then a Google PPC Management Campaign that is instant
  • Just doing SEO in Tucson for your website alone and not considering using PPC and Social Media is a disservice to your website and business.
  • Either you believe in internet marketing or you don’t. If you believe don’t “half ass” it because it can cost you long term.
  • There are no guarantees. Google changes it’s organic search algorithm all the time so the best approach is diversifying your internet marketing portfolio and links to your website.

How to determine Keywords to Rank For in Tucson, Arizona Market

Many people after launching a website want traffic from their website and new customers to call them from their website investment. One of the ways to get traffic to a website is from the search engines. The most popular search engine is Google. And the way it works is someone types in a “keyword” based on what they are trying to find and typically click on one of the website results on the first page. Most people do not go past the first page unless they are doing some deep research. And typically the higher your website is on the first page the more results and traffic you  will get to your website.

Keywords help drive end users to websites that are relevant to what they are searching for. If you want to figure out a list of keywords you want your website to rank for think about what your customers would type in Google or the search engines to find you if they didn’t know who you were already.

For example, if you were looking for help with Search Engine Optimization of your website in this case also known as SEO you might type in the search engine “Tucson SEO” or “SEO in Tucson“. Likewise, if you didn’t know the term SEO or Search Engine Optimization as most small business owners don’t you might type in “Internet Marketing Tucson” or “Tucson Marketing“  a more generic term.

See when we purchased this website in 2009 we knew keywords were important already with the search engines we actually purchased keywords in our domain name. If you are reading this you might already have a website and didn’t consider this and that is ok. It’s not a must but it does help a lot. And we can help you choose keyword websites to purchase in the future and use them as lead generating websites as we did with this website.

So first come up with a list related to your industry of what you think people search for if they were trying to find you without knowing your company name. Ask friends, family, business associates as well. After you have that list use Google’s Keyword Tool and enter those keyword in the box that says “Find Keywords” It will look like this.
